A minimum GPA of 75 is required. Up to 15 points will be awarded as follows:

MAP, ACP’s or other DISD approved assessments
A minimum score of 40% on norm referenced tests (MAP, ITBS, Terra Nova, Stanford9, ect) is required.
Up to 30 points will be awarded as follows:

On Site Essay (Up to 30 points)
The essay is an expository essay based on prompts inspired by 5th grade STAAR Writing prompts.
The rubric is based on the 4th grade STAAR Writing Rubric.

On-Site Interview (Up to 25 points)
The interview consists of a series of questions designed to identify students who are academically oriented, focused, driven, and thoughtful.
These questions help us connect with students who show potential and align well with our educational model.
